Gifted and Talented
The College operates a positive programme to ensure there are opportunities to attend additional courses to stimulate particularly gifted and talented students and help attain their true potential for their life beyond A level.
The personal development of our students is taking place every moment they are with us. Our programme aims to allow the student to develop a positive self-image and a commitment to the College and the wider community. It also makes a substantial contribution to meeting the College’s commitment to developing Citizenship. A wide ranging programme of Social and Personal Education is taught, mainly by the form tutor, who knows the students well. The programme includes units related to birth, adolescence, maturation, personal and sexual relationships, and the family.

There are also regular awards and prize draws for good attendance.
