Cambridge University Trip

In April, fifteen year 12 students attended an open day at Pembroke College, Cambridge University. The students were able to get first hand advice on how to apply for Cambridge University from the undergraduate admissions tutor and students.

There were also talks from subject specialists and a chance to explore the beautiful grounds and building.

Accompanied by Dr Pye, a former student of Pembroke College himself, he was able to show them behind the scenes including the Library, his former accommodation and the Junior Common Room. Afterwards, they visited the magnificent building of King's College Chapel and the grounds of Clare College.

It was an inspiring day.  Our students were really inspired by the people they spoke to because they were so passionate about their studies and studying at Cambridge. They realised just how hard they would need to work in order to be offered a place but also the opportunities and experiences studying there would bring.

We look forward to supporting our students with their UCAS applications in due course.
