Kind hearted refurbishment from David Wilson leads to unrecognisable sixth form centre at King Edward VII.
Five star Leicestershire housebuilder David Wilson Homes has kind heartedly refurbished the Sixth Form Centre at King Edward VII College in Coalville as a good will gesture.
David Wilson East Midlands is currently building close to the Warren Hills Road School at its new development Abbots View, so were delighted to undertake the transformation.
The team from David Wilson Homes worked closely with the Principal and the School Business Manager over the six weeks of the summer holiday to completely redesign and change the interior of the Sixth Form Centre, including plastering, altering the structure of the interior and giving it new flooring. The College has provided state of the art computer facilities to complete the transformation. The Sixth Form Centre has also had all of its electrics re-wired The refurbishment has now been hailed a success and has been welcomed by students who are delighted to use it.
John Reddington, Managing Director at David Wilson Homes East Midlands said: “This transformation was done purely as a good will gesture from David Wilson Homes and it’s such an honour for us to support our local community with projects like these.
“We are so proud of the team and I really hope everyone at the college likes the fantastic work that they’ve done.
