GCSE students celebrate their results

Students at King Edward Community College celebrate their well earned results

'Since joining King Edward VII college in Autumn 2015, after only five academic terms, students have made very good progress. Today, students were very anxious about how well they had performed in the new reformed GCSEs in English and maths. After months of hard work in lessons; attending Mastery Club on Wednesday after schools; making the grade sessions; Easter and half term revision academies; breakfast clubs and relevant sessions in the immersion timetable, students were delighted with their results at King Edward VII College. All students are ambitious to continue with their studies and progress to our Sixth Form or to a local FE college. Other students had already secured apprenticeships or employment. We are very proud of our students and wish to thank their parents and guardians who have supported them through this challenging period. High praise is also due to all staff who have work tirelessly to ensure that all of the above additional tuitition, facilities, resources, care and support was provided. Well done to the class of 2017. ' Ms Byrne
