Results Day Information
We look forward to welcoming our students back to College on the following days to collect their examination results. We recommend that students open their results on site so that staff can advise students about their next destination, especially if this is to stay at King Edward VII sixth form. For example, students may wish to make some adjustments to their original plans.
A Level Results Day – Thursday 15th August 2019 at 8.00am. Students can collect their A level results from the library at 8.00am
Experienced staff will be available to support students with their UCAS applications or for clearing via the UCAS website. In these cases, please be advised that there may be a waiting time for students to have a discussion with a member of staff as they may need to discuss your circumstances with another member of staff.Parents or relatives are welcome to accompany their son/daughter and are requested to wait in Room 10 which is adjacent to the library.Tea and coffee will be available there for your comfort.
GCSE Results Day – Thursday 22nd August 2019 at 10.00am. Students can collect their results from the main hall at 10.00am
For the majority of students, who are staying on at King Edward VII Sixth Form, there will be a specific set of instructions given to you in your exam envelope.Experienced staff will be on hand to guide you through the desk A to E system. There will be a waiting time as this is both a very exciting but nerve-wracking time for our young people and conversations must be given adequate time.
Students departing for F.E. College or apprenticeships will also be seen by experienced staff if they require this. These staff have extensive knowledge of local providers and they will also seek advice from Pastoral and Progress Leaders about your chosen destination. It is important that you make the right choices.
If students are unable to collect their results in person, and are therefore asking someone else to collect the results on their behalf, please note the following:
- Representatives will only be able to collect results on a student’s behalf from 12.00 noon from main reception.
- The person collecting the results must have written consent from the student, granting them permission to collect their results.
The representative collecting the results must have a valid form of identification e.g driving licence, passport, or a bill confirming your name and address. An email from someone abroad will not suffice as exam results are also stolen as a form of organised crime. If it is the case that you wish someone else to collect your results, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org at least two weeks in advance so we know who to expect.
