International Day at King Edward
On February 12th 2010 King Ed had its inaugural International Day, which was the culmination of an exciting week for our visitors from our link school in Rwanda. During their visit, they saw a huge range of lessons, spoke to students all over the college, and delivered lessons on their country and their culture.
On International Day, the entire school became a mirror for the world, with 57 different activities, ranging from Bavarian Leg Wrestling, through to HIV transmission around the world. This is a small part of our bid to gain the International School Award and to widen the horizons of our students. International Day was a phenomenal success, and Fidele and Mathias from our link school were overwhelmed with information and had a wonderful stay!
