King Edward VII to appoint Head Boy and Girl

The Sixth Form have been briefed this week on forth coming opportunities for self-development and realisation in Year 13!

We are in the process of launching the school council ready for the next academic year. Students are in the process of applying for the esteemed roles of Head Boy and Girl, Senior Prefects and committee leaders. Students are expected to complete and submit the application forms by Friday 8th July. The same students will give a presentation to the Sixth Form on Tuesday 12th July outlining their ‘vision’ for their prospective role. Following the presentations, ballot sheets will be distributed to both staff and students and votes will be cast before lunch.

On Wednesday 13th July Ms Byrne will interview the ‘top four’ nominated students. The Head Boy and Girl will be officially announced via the website on Wednesday 13th July. The two runners up will be appointed as Deputy Head Boy and Girl.

These key leadership roles will provide Sixth Form students with the opportunity to lead and shape the whole school council by guiding Senior Prefects and committee members in their duties. The roles will have a genuine impact and influence upon the direction of the Sixth Form and the whole school.
